IMA POP Spring Term 2021: Indian Army Gets 341 Officers, 84 GCs of Friendly Countries Also Pass Out

Dehradun: The Indian Military Academy conducted its passing out parade on Saturday.

Lieutenant General RP Singh, Western Army Commander was the reviewing officer. Addressing the cadets at the Indian Military Academy’s historic drill square after a colorful Passing Out Parade, Lt Gen Singh asked IMA pass-outs to keep evolving to handle modern warfare challenges.

“Conventional warfare has transformed under the influence of disruptive technologies. Modern Warfare is not just a simple clash between military powers but it is fluid, amorphous, non-contact, and asymmetric,”

“In the challenging times like these, you have to keep your leadership dynamic, contemporary, and constantly evolving,” Singh added.

A total of 425 Gentlemen Cadets, including 84 from nine friendly foreign countries passed out from the IMA on Saturday to join their respective armies. 341 cadets commissioned into the Indian Army

The Parade was conducted at the Chetwode Building Drill Square in Dehradun, following all the COVID-19 precautions like wearing masks, gloves and maintaining the social distancing norms.
