The 17th Edition of India–US joint military exercise ‘Yudh Abhyas 21’ commenced in Alaska on Oct 15.
The Indian and American soldiers participated in friendly volleyball, soccer and kabaddi matches amid the joint training exercise.
4 teams, comprising of troops from both the countries played the matches with zeal and sportsmanship spirit.
The ‘Ex Yudh Abhyas 21’ is a 14 day exercise being held at Alaska’s Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, and includes joint training for operations under the United Nations mandate.
There are 350 soldiers from the 7 Madras Infantry Battalion group of the Indian Army and over 300 US Army soldiers of First Squadron (Airborne) of 40th Cavalry Regiment who are taking part in the joint exercise.
