Monsoons arriving has been a respite to most of North India, which had been witnessing scorching temperatures. However, the monsoons has brought forth a host of new problems for certain areas in Uttar Pradesh.

A road in Moradabad’s Chak Fazalpur village has been submerged in water, causing major inconvenience to the locals. The contractor’s failure to act on the tender to repair the road coupled with monsoons worsened the condition.

While locals of Chak Fazalpur are hoping for situation to improve, residents of Jetia Firozpur and 20 other villages are waiting for a bridge to be constructed on Gagan river.

The residents have constructed a make shift bridge on the river, however crossing it becomes difficult during rains the monsoon season.

The villagers are demanding a permanent bridge on the river so that they can cross the river without having to go through any inconvenience or difficulty.
