India’s National Education Policy has completed one year.
On the day, Centre announced reservation for OBCs & EWS in undergraduate & post graduate medical education courses. The move comes ahead of upcoming assembly polls in UP.

National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR) along with National Education Technology Forum (NETF) has been launched to provide digital & technological framework where students will be able to choose subject across streams.
Multiple entry/exit & bank of credit system has been announced to enable college students to choose and exit their academic course after the first, second or third year.
Skill development and technological advancement will be carried under NEP as a push for Aatmanirbhar Bharat .
Vidya Pravesh Programme has been announced to take play schools to rural areas.
With the objective of teacher training & capacity building among teachers, the NISHTHA Programme has been announced by the Modi government.
