Navratri 2021: Devotees Visit Temples As Nine Day Festival Begins

The festival of Navratri has begun, Devotees are visiting temples to offer their prayers on the first day of the festival.

The festival of Navratri, when devotees worship the nine goddesses for nine days has begun, and so have the celebrations around it. Temples across India can be seen decorated with flowers and lights. 

From Himachal Pradesh to Punjab to Assam,  Devotees are visiting temples to offer their prayers while following the Covid-19 protocols.

The famous Langoor Mela of Amritsar observed on first day of Navratri has begun too, at Bada Hanuman Mandir in the premises of Durgiana temple.

PM Modi has also sent Navratri greetings to the nation through a tweet, hoping for good health and prosperity for everyone.

The festival, which has begun today, will go on till October 15.
