The drone shot of the video recently went viral on social media that showed the dilapidated condition of the roads.

Giant craters that cover the full width of a National Highway for as long as the eye can see are still a rare phenomenon. But it was recently witnessed in Bihar’s National Highway-277 in Madhubani.

The drone shot of the video recently went viral on social media that showed the dilapidated condition of the roads. According to media reports, these roads remained in this condition since 2015.

Reportedly, beside being a National Highway there are approximately 15,000 families and at least 500 shops connecting to the road, but they have now become accustomed to the dilapidated road condition.

It is said that the potholes are 100-feet long, 50-feet wide and 3-feet deep. Tenders have been floated three times to repair the road and contractors responsible for the construction of the road have apparently fled.
