Pacer Hasan Ali and his teammates jumped on the “pawri ho rahi hai” meme trend after Pakistan’s thrilling T20I series win over South Africa on Sunday (February 14).
Right after their win in the third and final T20I against the Proteas, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their social handles celebrating the 2-1 series win.
In the above-mentioned video, Hasan Ali can be seen taking a selfie video and then proceeded to say: “Yeh main hoon, yeh meri team hai or hum series jitke party kar rahe hai” (which translates to this is me, this is my team and were are partying after winning the series).
PCB took to Twitter and shared the video and it went instantly viral on social media, gathering almost 300,000 views and over 24,000 likes.
