New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday (February 12, 2021) used a still from the movie ‘Ghajini’ starring Aamir Khan to send their message across the state that the pandemic is not over yet, therefore, do not forget to follow measures in place to prevent its spread.

In the picture attached to the tweet, you can see Aamir Khan with tattoos such as handwash, mask and sanitiser. This is to remind everyone that this is not the time to put our guards down but to buckle up and fight the pandemic with the same alacrity as we have shown till date.

The meme is inspired by the character of  Sanjay Singhania (Played by Aamir Khan) who suffers from short-term memory loss and thus uses tattoos on his body to remind himself about his mission.

Coronavirus cases in India are showing a welcome trajectory with active caseload falling to just 1.35 lakh on Friday but the fight is still on and you have to make sure to follow all the guidelines issued by the government including social distancing measures, masks and regular handwash.

As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 9,309 new confirmed cases of COVID-19  were recorded in the last 24 hours in the country. 15,858 new recoveries were registered in the same period.
